# Browser Extension

Save anything you find on the web with a single click - no copying links, no switching tabs, no leaving the page you're reading. The browser extension keeps you in your flow while your knowledge base fills up.
## Installing
Setup takes a minute - install the extension, then connect it to your account once. From there, saving is a single click.
The Safari extension comes bundled with the [Mac app](/applications/mac) - get it from the App Store.Enable Edicek in Safari under `Settings` → `Extensions` and allow it to run.Click the Edicek icon in Safari's toolbar. A popup opens, ready to connect to your account.
In the popup, under **Get your access key**, click **Open Setup Page**. It opens the [web app](https://my.edicek.com) - sign in if you're not already, then copy your access key.
Back in the popup, paste the key into **Paste your access key** and click **Connect**.
The extension is linked to your account and ready to go. Find a page worth keeping, click the Edicek icon, add your **WHY** note, and save.
Add Edicek from the [Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/edicek/mgpbhmoefhlnapfidailoifagkmnbfff). It works in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave,
and Arc.
Click the Edicek icon in your toolbar - if you don't see it, pin the extension first. A popup opens, ready to connect to your account.
In the popup, under **Get your access key**, click **Open Setup Page**. It opens the [web app](https://my.edicek.com) - sign in if you're not already, then copy your access key.
Back in the popup, paste the key into **Paste your access key** and click **Connect**.
The extension is linked to your account and ready to go. Find a page worth keeping, click the Edicek icon, add your **WHY** note, and save.
## One-click saving
The extension lives in your browser toolbar. When you find something worth keeping, click the Edicek icon, add a quick note, and hit `Save` - that's it.
The page lands in your timeline seconds later, and Edicek processes it in the background: pulling in the page's text and transcribing video when the content calls for it.
## The note field
Every save has a note field, and it's worth using. A few words about the **WHY** behind saving something gives your AI assistant real context - it makes [Search](/core-features/search) and [Chat](/core-features/chat) far more useful later.
Even *"for the tomato article idea"* or *"quote for the talk"* is enough to help the right card surface when you need it. Curious why this one habit matters so much? [The why behind Edicek](/getting-started/the-why-behind-edicek) goes deeper.
## What you can save
The extension works with virtually any web content, and Edicek detects the page type automatically - applying the best capture method without you choosing or configuring anything. See [card types](/core-features/cards) for what each kind keeps.
## The keyboard shortcut
The fastest way to save is without touching the mouse. Assign a shortcut once, then whenever you're browsing, press it and start typing your note - the save form opens ready for you.
Setting it up differs by browser.
In Safari, go to `Settings` → `Extensions` and select Edicek.Under the keyboard shortcut field, set a shortcut like `⌘E`.
Click the `⋮` menu, go to **Settings** → **Extensions**, and open **Keyboard shortcuts**.
Or jump straight there: go to `chrome://extensions/shortcuts` (in Edge, `edge://extensions/shortcuts`).
Find Edicek and set a shortcut like `Ctrl+E` (or `Cmd+E` on Mac).
> **Founder tip:** I keep mine on `Cmd+E` - E for Edicek, easy to remember. Wherever I am, whenever something's worth keeping, I hit it and start typing right away. And once the form is open, `Cmd+Enter` saves it - so I never reach for the mouse.

# iPhone & iPad

Your knowledge base in your pocket and on the couch. Save whatever you find while you're out, capture a quick note, and chat with your AI assistant - all from the native iOS app, on iPhone and iPad alike.
Of all the ways to use Edicek, this might be the most important one. As good as the native Mac and web apps are, your phone is the one that's always with you - and most saving happens right where you consume content, out and about, whenever something catches your eye. That's what makes this the app you'll reach for most.
## Save from anywhere with the share sheet
The fastest way to save on iOS is the share sheet. Reading an article in Safari, watching a video, or scrolling a feed - tap `Share`, choose Edicek, add a quick note, and it's saved. No copying links or switching apps.
It's not just Safari - save straight from [YouTube](/card-types/youtube), [TikTok](/card-types/tiktok), [Twitter/X](/card-types/twitter-x), and almost any other app. The only requirement is that the app can share a link.

## Save from the app
You can also add something without the share sheet. In the app, tap **New Bookmark** to keep a link - paste the URL and add a note about **WHY** it matters - or **New Note** to jot down a thought. Fill it in and save.
## Home screen widget
Put Edicek one tap away by adding the home screen widget. From the widget you can start a new [Chat](/core-features/chat) conversation, create a new [note](/card-types/notes), or just open the app to your timeline.
When something becomes part of your day, it should sit right where your thumb lands. Edicek is an app you'll open again and again, so the widget puts it a single tap away - a new note or a fresh chat in an instant, without hunting for the icon first.
To add it, long-press your home screen, tap `+`, search for Edicek, and place the widget where you want it.
## More room on iPad
On iPad it's exactly the same Edicek as on iPhone - every feature works the same, just with more room to spread out. And since iPad is where so much reading and watching happens, it matters that saving works right there too: the share sheet is built in, so tap `Share`, choose Edicek, and it lands on your timeline just like on your phone.
The extra width also lets the sidebar stay open beside your content, so you can move between your timeline, a card you're reading, and a chat without losing your place.
## Tips
* **Don't forget the browser extension** - You'll want to save from your computer too, not just your phone. Install the [browser extension](/applications/browser-extension) so anything you find on desktop lands in the same timeline.
* **Put the widget on your home screen** - Add the [home screen widget](#home-screen-widget) for one-tap access to a new chat, a new note, or the app - no digging around your phone.
* **Add a note in the share sheet** - The **WHY** you type when saving is what makes the AI's answers about that card genuinely useful later.
* **Keep the sidebar open on iPad** - The iPad's width means you rarely have to hide your chat history or timeline - use both at once.
* **Continue chats across devices** - Start a question on iPhone and pick it up on the web - your chat history follows you.

# Mac

Edicek as a real desktop app, built for the keyboard. Live in your timeline, start a chat with `Cmd+N`, and drive your whole knowledge base without reaching for the mouse.
It's a universal app - the same Edicek across all your Apple devices - so it installs from the App Store. Don't be thrown if the download opens what looks like the iPhone listing; it installs and runs natively on your Mac just the same.
## A native desktop app
The Mac app is a proper native application, not a browser tab. It opens fast, sits in your Dock, and fits into your desktop workflow - switch to it with `Cmd+Tab`, save a link, ask a question, and get back to work. Everything syncs with the same library you use on the [web](/applications/web) and your phone.
## Save from the app
You don't need to leave the app to add something. In the sidebar, click **New Bookmark** to save a link - paste the URL and add a note about **WHY** it matters - or **New Note** to write a thought of your own. Save, and it lands in your timeline.
## Keyboard-driven workflow
The Mac app is at its best when your hands stay on the keyboard. Jump between your chats and cards, or create something new, without ever reaching for the mouse:

The web app is the heart of Edicek - the place where everything you save comes together. Save a link, add a note about **WHY** it matters, then ask your AI assistant about any of it, all in one browser tab. It's the same library you carry on your phone, with the full room of a desktop screen to read, search, and think in.
## Your home base
Everything you save lands in your timeline - articles, notes, YouTube videos, tweets, and more. The newest sits right at the top, so your latest saves are always the first thing you see. Open any card to visit the original link or add and edit your note.
From here you can pull anything back up with [Search](/core-features/search) or bring it into a conversation with [Chat](/core-features/chat).
## Save from the app
You don't need to leave the web app to add something. Click **New** - the `+` in the navigation - and pick what to create: a **Bookmark** to keep a link with a note about **WHY** it matters, or a **Note** to write your own thoughts. Fill it in and save.

## What are note cards
A note is your own writing, saved as a card - not pulled from the web, just yours. It lives in your timeline alongside everything else, and Chat and Search draw on it like any other card.
A few things people keep as notes:
* A **quick idea** you don't want to lose
* **Takeaways** from a call, a book, or a podcast
* A **draft** - a message or post to polish later
* **Lessons and decisions** that live only in your head
* A **reminder** about something else you saved
## How to create
Notes are written right in the app - there's nothing to share in from elsewhere. Start a new note from your timeline and just write. It saves as you type and is searchable the moment you create it.

Everything you keep in Edicek becomes a card - your own notes, a web page, a video, a tweet. Save it once with a note about **WHY** it matters, and it's ready to search or chat about later.
Edicek detects the card type automatically from what you save, so you never have to pick a type. A YouTube link becomes a YouTube card, a tweet becomes a Twitter/X card, and text you write yourself becomes a note. Each type captures the details that make sense for it.
## Supported card types
Your own thoughts and ideas, written as cards.
Any web page, saved with its title and description.
Videos saved with a full transcript.
Short-form videos, transcribed.
Posts saved with their text, author, and media.
Whatever the type, every card lands in your timeline and becomes part of your searchable knowledge base. From there you can find it with [Search](/core-features/search) or bring it into a conversation with [Chat](/core-features/chat).
## What a card looks like
Every card shares the same shape, so you can read your timeline at a glance:
* **The preview** shows the content itself - a video thumbnail, a page screenshot, a post, or your own text.
* **A type icon** sits in the **bottom-left corner**, so you can tell a YouTube card from a note without opening it.
* **Your note** appears in a box **below the preview**, whenever you added one.
Click any card to open its detail, where you can read it in full and edit your note at any time.
## Sorting and filtering
Your timeline shows everything newest first, but once you've saved a lot you can reorder it or narrow it down to one kind of card.
### Sort
| Option | What comes first |

| **Newest** | The cards you saved most recently. This is the default. |
| **Oldest** | The very first cards you ever saved. |
| **Recently updated** | The cards you changed last - editing a note moves one back up. |

## Card actions
Every card has a menu of quick actions - open it from any card in your timeline.
### Opening the menu
The menu is one tap or click away on every platform - here's where to find it.
### Available actions
Everything you can do with a card from its menu - some actions only show up for the card types they apply to.
Opens the card's source link in your browser. Shown on bookmark cards.
Copies the card's URL to your clipboard. Shown on bookmark cards.
Copies a note's text to your clipboard. Shown on note cards.
Copies the whole card as formatted Markdown - its note and content - ready to paste into a document, a note-taking app, or another AI assistant. Available once the card's Markdown is ready.
Blurs the card in your timeline so a quick glance won't expose it - without deleting it. Switches to **Remove sensitive mark** once set. See [Sensitive cards](#sensitive-cards) below.
A submenu for when something looks off:
* **Refresh metadata** re-runs the background processing for the card - metadata and transcription. Handy when something didn't come through, like a missing thumbnail or data that looks off.
* **Report error** flags a problem with the card so we can look into it and get it processed correctly - and every report helps us make Edicek better for everyone.
Removes the card from your timeline for good. It's taken out of your knowledge base, so it won't surface in [Search](/core-features/search) or [Chat](/core-features/chat). There's no undo.
## Sensitive cards
Saved something private? Mark a card as sensitive to keep it out of sight in your timeline - without deleting it.
A sensitive card stays in your knowledge base - you're only controlling how it looks in your timeline. Instead of being shown in full, it's blurred, so a quick glance won't expose anything private when someone's looking over your shoulder or you're sharing your screen.
Changed your mind? Open the card's menu again and choose **Remove sensitive mark** whenever you no longer need it - the blur comes off and the card looks like any other.

# Chat

Your personal AI assistant that already knows everything you've saved. Ask a question, brainstorm an idea, or just chat - and the right cards surface on their own, no searching required.
The best part: you can make Chat your everyday assistant, a replacement for ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude - without ever framing your question around what you saved. Your knowledge isn't a separate place you go to search; it's automatically folded into the assistant's context whenever it's relevant, quietly shaping how it answers and how relevant those answers are to you.
Ask *"what can I fit into five days in Tokyo?"* and it can weave in the activities you clipped from TikTok two years ago - without you mentioning them at all.
### Ask your first question
Ask anything you'd ask the chat assistant you already use - and if you've saved something relevant, it's taken into account in the answer. It works the same everywhere.
## Like ChatGPT, but it knows your cards
Chat is powered by AI models from Anthropic - the same ones behind the [Claude](https://www.anthropic.com/claude) assistant. The difference is that Chat in Edicek automatically has access to every card you've saved - articles, notes, videos, tweets, and the **WHY** behind why you saved them.
When a card is relevant, Chat reads the whole card - your **WHY** note, the title and description, the page you saved, even the transcript of a video - so its answer is grounded in what you actually kept, not just a link or a title.
## Memory on, memory off
By default, every message can use your saved cards. The memory toggle in the message box - **With memory** / **Without memory** - controls that for a single message.
* **With memory** - Chat looks through your saved cards and uses the relevant ones in its answer.
* **Without memory** - Chat skips the card search and answers from its general knowledge only, just like a standalone assistant. Replies come back a little faster since there's nothing to look up, but you also miss any valuable context from your own cards - so reach for it when you want a purely general answer.
The toggle is per-message, not per-chat - you decide before every message you send, whether you're starting a fresh conversation or already deep in one. Each message starts with memory on, so you're always one tap away from your own knowledge.

## Managing your chats
Start a new conversation any time from the welcome screen - just type your question and Chat opens a fresh conversation for it. Each chat keeps its context across messages, so you can ask follow-ups and change direction naturally.
Your past chats are grouped by time - Today, Yesterday, This week, and so on - so your history stays easy to scan, and each chat gets an automatic title from your first message.
## Chat actions
From any chat's menu you can:
Replace the automatic title with one of your own. Your custom title sticks - Edicek won't overwrite it later.
Remove the conversation for good, after a quick confirm. There's no undo.

## Tips
* **Add a note when you save** - The **WHY** you write on a card is what makes Chat's answers about it genuinely useful later. A few words of context go a long way.
* **One topic per conversation** - For the best results, start a new chat for each topic or question. Don't hesitate to create many short, single-purpose conversations - it helps Chat focus and give you more relevant answers from your cards.
* **Ask naturally** - Talk to Chat like you would a friend. You don't need perfect queries or formal language, just say what you're looking for.
* **Ask across languages** - Ask in English about content you saved in Czech, or the other way around. Chat matches meaning across languages, so it can still surface the right cards.

# Search

Find anything you've saved by describing it in your own words. Search understands what you mean - and even the **WHY** you saved it - so the right card comes back without remembering the exact title or keyword.
### Make your first search
Type what you're after in your own words, then open any result. It works the same everywhere.
## Search by meaning, not keywords
Instead of matching exact words, Search understands the meaning behind your query and lines it up against everything you've saved - so you can look for things the way you remember them, not the way they were originally written.
It reads across the whole card: your note about **WHY** you saved it, the title, the description, the link, and the text of what you saved. That's why a card can surface even when your query and the original share no words at all - the match is about meaning, not spelling. The best matches show up at the top, and the further down you go, the less related the cards get.
Unlike [Chat](/core-features/chat), which answers you in a conversation, Search hands back the actual cards. Results look just like your timeline - open a bookmark in your browser, or open a note to read and edit it.
## Tips
* **Add a note when you save** - The **WHY** you write on a card is the strongest signal Search has. Write it the way you'd go looking for it later - the words that would come to mind when you try to find it in a few weeks. Even a few words of context give Search a much better chance of putting the right card in front of you. Learn more in [Cards](/core-features/cards).
* **Search the way you remember** - Don't worry about exact keywords. If all you recall is *"something about morning productivity routines"*, just search for that. The AI works from meaning, so it finds the right card even when the wording is different.
* **Be specific when you can** - If you remember details like *"the gardening article with tips about tomatoes"*, include them. More context narrows the results, which helps a lot once you've saved a lot of cards.
* **Search in any language** - Look for content in English that you saved in Czech, or the other way around. The AI matches meaning across languages, so use whatever feels natural.

Reach your Edicek content from your own code. The GraphQL API gives you programmatic access to everything you can do in the app.
## GraphQL endpoint
The GraphQL server lives at:

That same endpoint serves a GraphQL Playground. Because the API is fully **introspectable**, we don't keep a hand-written reference of every query, mutation, and field here - the live schema is the source of truth and always matches what the app can do.
Open the Playground to browse the whole schema, see exactly what's available, and test queries interactively before you wire anything up.
## Personal access tokens
Requests are authenticated with a Personal access token that you create in the web app.
Personal access tokens can currently be created only in the **web app** at [my.edicek.com](https://my.edicek.com) - not in the mobile or desktop apps.
In the web app, click your user icon and choose `Profile` from the menu.
On the Profile page, find the **Personal Access Tokens** section.
Click `Create`, give it a name, and copy the token value.
Keep the token private - it grants the same access to your content that you have. Send it on every request in the `Authorization` header:

## Scope requests to a workspace
For operations that read or change data inside a specific workspace, include the workspace ID in a `workspace` header:

## How workspace data is organized
GraphQL introspection shows you every field, but a quick mental model helps you find your way around. Everything here lives inside a **workspace** - the one your requests target.
* **Cards** are the saved items. A card carries a title, a description, your **note** (the **WHY** you saved it), and a type - and it's built from **blocks**.
* **Blocks** are the content inside a card. Each block has a type - a **bookmark** (a saved link: a generic page, a YouTube or TikTok video, or a tweet), **text**, or an **image**. Today a card holds a single block, and its type matches the card's type. This is where the real content lives: URLs, images, transcripts, snapshots.
* **Chats** are conversations with the AI; a chat holds its messages and links back to the cards it used as sources.
* **Searches** are natural-language queries, each tied to the cards it returned.

## Your first request
Here's the whole flow in the Playground, from a token to a list of your cards.
Follow [Personal access tokens](#personal-access-tokens) above to create one, and copy its value.
Open the Playground at the [endpoint](#graphql-endpoint) and, in its **Headers** panel, authenticate every request:

From here, open the [endpoint](#graphql-endpoint) in your browser and explore the Playground: the schema lays out everything you can fetch and change, from your cards to chats and searches.
## Tips
**Explore in the Playground first** - Build and check your queries against the live schema before moving them into code. It's the fastest way to see what fields are available.
**One token per integration** - Create a separate token for each script or tool you connect. If you ever need to revoke one, the others keep working.

The Edicek CLI lets you work with your cards from the terminal - save a link or a note straight into your workspace, and export everything you have saved to Markdown files.
## Install
Install the CLI globally with your package manager:

## Step by step tutorial
The CLI authenticates with a **Personal access token** - the same kind the [API](/developers/api) uses. Create one in the web app.
Personal access tokens can currently be created only in the **web app** at [my.edicek.com](https://my.edicek.com) - not in the mobile or desktop apps.
In the web app, click your user icon and choose `Profile` from the menu.
On the Profile page, find the **Personal Access Tokens** section.
Click `Create`, give it a name, and copy the token value.
Pass the token to `--token`:

## Save a link
Run `cards bookmark add` with a URL to save it as a new card in your workspace. Add an optional note to capture **WHY** it matters:

Page metadata is extracted on the server right after the card is created, so the title and description of a freshly saved link show up a moment later.
## Save a note
Run `cards note add` with your text to save it as a new note card in your workspace. Pass the text directly, or read it from a file - the two options cannot be combined:

Get up and running in five minutes. Most people start on their phone, save a few things, and jump straight into chat.
## Get started
The things worth keeping usually show up when you're out and about or scrolling social media - so you want Edicek right there in your pocket, ready before anything slips away. That's why the journey starts on your iPhone or iPad.
Get the [iPhone & iPad app](/applications/iphone-and-ipad) from the App Store and sign in with your Edicek account.
Get on the App Store
To make saving effortless, add Edicek to your **Favorites** in the iOS share sheet - open `Share` from any app, tap `Edit Actions`, and pin Edicek to the top row. Now it's one tap away wherever you are.
Try it right now: from any app, tap `Share`, pick Edicek, and save a link - even this documentation page. Add a quick note about *why* you're saving it. That note is what makes everything work later.
Not everything worth keeping is a link, either - you can write your own [note](/card-types/notes) straight in the app.
Open your timeline in the [iPhone app](/applications/iphone-and-ipad) or the [web app](/applications/web) to see everything you've saved as cards, sitting side by side.
Open [Chat](/core-features/chat) and just ask - *"what did I save about growing tomatoes"* - and the matching card surfaces on its own as the source behind the answer.
That's the whole loop - saving and asking. From here, just save whatever catches your eye, whenever it catches you. There's nothing to organize, no folders to keep tidy.
The one habit worth keeping: always add the *why*. That single note is what lets Edicek understand what you care about, surface the right card months later, and give you answers in chat that actually know your stuff. Skip it and a card still saves - but the *why* is what turns a pile of links into a knowledge base that works for you.

### Write your own note
Not everything worth keeping comes from somewhere else. Write a [note](/card-types/notes) straight in the app - a thought, an idea, something you want to come back to - and it becomes a card like any other, ready for chat to draw on later.
### Add the widget to your home screen
Put Edicek one tap away with the home screen widget. Instead of opening the app and finding your way around, you jump straight into whatever you want to do.
From the widget you can start a new [chat](/core-features/chat), create a new [note](/card-types/notes), or just open the app to your timeline.
To add it, long-press your home screen, tap `+`, search for Edicek, and place the widget where you want it.
### Toggle Memory when you need speed
Inside a chat you can toggle **Memory** on or off. Leave it **on** to draw on your saved cards; switch it **off** for a quick general answer without searching your knowledge - handy when you just want a fast reply. [Learn more](/core-features/chat)
### Install the browser extension
On your computer, add the browser extension - the [Chrome extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/edicek/mgpbhmoefhlnapfidailoifagkmnbfff) from the Chrome Web Store, or the Safari extension that ships with the [Mac app](/applications/mac).

# The why behind Edicek

Edicek is personal - not as a marketing claim, but literally. The name is a nickname: *"Edíček"* is what we call my son Eduard at home. That's where this whole thing starts.
Why personal? Because **Edicek is you.** It's the things you choose to save, the moments you decide matter - your own personality reflected back at you over time. And the one detail every other app forgets to ask about is the **WHY** behind a save - which is exactly what this page is about.
Save anything you find online with a quick note about **WHY** it matters, and let AI turn it into a personal knowledge base that remembers for you. Think ChatGPT and Apple Notes combined - the simplicity of notes, the intelligence of AI, and the memory of everything you've ever saved.
## What Edicek is
You save dozens of articles, videos, and links every week - browser bookmarks, reading lists, messages to yourself. But when you need that information later, you can't remember where you saved it or what it was called.
Most tools try to solve this by analyzing what you saved, using AI to guess categories, generate tags, and detect topics. They're smart about **WHAT**, but they miss the most important piece: **WHY** you saved it.
Edicek asks you **WHY** at the moment it matters most - when you save something. Everything you keep becomes a card - a [bookmark](/core-features/cards) from the web or a [note](/card-types/notes) you write yourself - and a quick note about **WHY** you're saving it changes everything. There are no folders and no tags to maintain; you just save with a reason and Edicek handles the rest.
## Why the WHY matters
The note you add when you save is what makes Edicek understand you. Capture **WHY** a card matters, and months later the AI surfaces exactly what you had in mind - not just something on the same topic.
When you save a recipe website, content analysis just sees food. It might tag it *"cooking"* or *"recipes"*. But it has no idea **WHY** you saved it - maybe for a special occasion dinner, maybe for quick weeknight meals. Same content, completely different reasons, completely different ways you'll want to find it later. *"Great restaurant in Prague for anniversary dinner"* vs *"Quick lunch spots near office"* - same type of content, completely different context, completely different treatment.
Edicek captures the **WHY** when it's freshest in your mind - the moment you save. Try remembering three months later **WHY** you saved something. You might recall the topic, but the specific reason, the mental context that made it valuable, is usually gone. Without context, even the most advanced AI is just guessing.
Interest isn't intent: you might save something as inspiration, as a cautionary tale, as a competitor example, or as a resource to recommend, and the AI needs your note to know which.
## What a good WHY looks like
A good note is just what you'd say to a friend - a scrap of the thought you had in the moment. It doesn't need to be tidy or clever, it just needs to be true:

None of these describe *what* the page is - they capture *what it meant to you*. That's the part that makes it findable and genuinely useful later.

Content analysis reads the page. Your note reads your mind. The two often point in completely opposite directions - and only your note gets it right:

No folders, no tags. Every card drops into a single timeline, and Edicek processes it in the background based on its type - videos get transcribed into searchable text, articles get their text extracted, and summaries are written using your note. The card shows up immediately; the processed detail follows in up to a few minutes, depending on the card type.
Because every card carries your **WHY**, [Chat](/core-features/chat) and [Search](/core-features/search) don't just see what you saved - they see **WHY** you cared. Ask in Chat and the right cards surface on their own, worked into the answer; search and the matching cards come back as results you can open. Both draw on your whole library, and both work across languages - ask in English about content you saved in Czech.
Save something new and it's part of your next conversation right away. Nothing to re-index, nothing to organize. The more you save, the more valuable Edicek becomes - it connects cards you saved months apart and resurfaces forgotten content when it matters again.
