iOS Shortcut

Save content to Edicek directly from Safari or any iOS app using the share menu. The iOS Shortcut is the fastest way to capture links on your iPhone or iPad.

Quick setup

Setup takes two minutes. We have a dedicated installation page in Edicek that walks you through everything - your personal access token is already generated and ready to copy. Just copy it, download the shortcut, paste the token when prompted, and you're done.

How to use it

The shortcut appears in the share menu whenever you're sharing a URL link:

Tap the share button (square with arrow) in Safari or any app (eg. YouTube, TikTok, Reddit).
Select Save to Edicek from the share menu.
Add a note about why you're saving this.
Tap Save.

Once saved, Edicek processes the URL the same way as desktop bookmarklet - extracting text, capturing screenshots, transcribing videos, and generating AI summaries. Everything becomes searchable in your knowledge base.

Tips

Pin to favorites - In the share menu, tap Edit Actions at the bottom, find the Save to Edicek action, and tap the plus button to add it to favorites. Then drag it to the top of your favorites list to make it the first option when sharing.

Always add notes - Even a few words help the AI understand why you saved this. Your note influences how we summarize and categorize the bookmark for later use.

Works everywhere - The shortcut works in Safari, Twitter, YouTube, RSS readers, podcast apps - any app with a share button where shareable content is a link.
