Never lose track of valuable YouTube content again. Save videos with a note about why they matter, and find them later by what was discussed - not by remembering the exact title or channel name.

What gets captured

Full video transcription - Every word spoken in the video gets transcribed into searchable text. This makes the entire audio content available for AI Search and AI Chat, letting you find specific moments or topics discussed in the video without rewatching it.

Personalized AI summary - Based on your note explaining why you're saving the video, we create a customized summary highlighting the aspects most relevant to your interests. If you save a cooking video noting "interested in the fermentation process," the summary focuses on that topic rather than generic recipe steps. This personalized summary is then used in AI Chat and AI Search to provide more relevant responses.

How it works

When you save a YouTube video, we start processing it in the background immediately. The bookmark appears in your timeline right away, but transcription and summarization take a few minutes depending on video length.

Once processing completes, the full transcript becomes part of your searchable knowledge base. You can ask the AI chat about topics discussed in the video or reference it alongside other content you've saved.

Your note explaining why you saved the video becomes crucial here - it guides how the AI understands and summarizes the content, making it more useful when you search or chat about related topics later.

Tips

Add context in your notes - When saving a YouTube video, write specifically why this video matters to you. Instead of "interesting video," write "explains composting basics for small gardens" or "great design inspiration for landing page." This helps create better personalized summaries and makes the AI more helpful when you ask related questions later.

💡

Sometimes things don't process perfectly on the first try. A video might not transcribe, or a summary might be missing. When this happens, try processing the video again - often it works the second time. Still having trouble? Let us know so we can fix it.
