Notes
Your personal thinking space. Capture ideas, organize thoughts, and build your knowledge base - all while keeping everything searchable and connected to your saved content.
What are Notes
Notes in Edicek are your place for writing anything you want to remember or develop over time. Unlike bookmarks that save external content, notes are purely yours - written by you, for you.
Every note becomes part of your searchable knowledge base. You can find them later using AI Search, reference them in AI Chat, and see them alongside your bookmarks in your timeline. They're not isolated documents - they integrate seamlessly with everything else you've saved.
Notes stay synchronized with your other content. When you ask the AI about topics related to your notes, it automatically includes them in responses, combining your written thoughts with saved articles, bookmarks, and other content.
When to use Notes
Use notes to capture ideas quickly when inspiration strikes, or develop thoughts over time by returning to expand them.
Notes are also ideal for documenting personal experiences and insights that don't exist anywhere else, from cooking experiments to project lessons learned.
How they work
Create a new note anytime from your timeline. Write naturally in whatever way works for you. Break your thoughts into paragraphs to keep them organized and readable.
Once created, notes appear in your timeline alongside bookmarks. They're timestamped, searchable, and available to the AI immediately. You can edit them anytime.
Tips
Don't overthink structure - Just start writing. Notes don't need perfect organization or complete sentences. Even rough thoughts and bullet points are valuable when they're searchable and accessible later.
Write in any language - Mix languages freely based on what feels natural. You might write some notes in English and others in Spanish - the AI understands both and can reference them regardless of which language you use when searching or chatting.
Limitations
No rich media embedding - You can't directly embed images, videos, or files inside notes. Notes are text-based. If you want to save visual content, use bookmarks instead.
No text formatting - Notes are plain text only. You can't use bold, italics, headings, or any text styling. Keep it simple and focus on content.
No real-time collaboration - Notes are personal to your account. You can't share edit access with others or collaborate on notes in real-time.
